It's getting close now. The seats are almost assembled. The aisles still need to be carpeted.

Here comes the fun part

The chairs are being put back in earnest today. It's getting very exciting up there.

The tech windows at the back of the theatre also had to be raised, so the sound and light guys can see over patrons' heads.

Chairs are going back in!

When you consider...

...that the bottom of the seats used to be level with the bottom of the doorframe, and heads were approximately at the level of the chairrail on the back wall, you can get a sense of how much of a difference this will make for people in the back rows.


It's also so much nicer looking than that old gray concrete floor.


Word on the street is that they will be ready to re-install the chairs by as soon as Monday!
